Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions for the sale/purchase of goods and use of this website will govern any contract that le petit boutique enter with the buyer. Please read this carefully and note that it does not affect your statutory rights.
Prices
All prices are in Pounds Sterling and are payable in this currency irrespective of the country from where the order originates.
le petit boutique reserves the right to change prices at any time but products are charged at the price displayed when the order is placed.
Product Descriptions, Availability and Condition
Please note that unless stated otherwise all products have been pre-owned and as such will display some signs of age. I endeavour to disclose honestly and clearly the full condition of each item. Please contact me if you require any further information about a product.
All our products are one-offs (unless stated otherwise) – so please note that it will be rare to have more than one piece of each item.
Whilst every effort has been made to reproduce exact colours, slight variations may occur.
Wherever possible I endeavour to use recycled materials to package your order. If you would like your order gift wrapped, please email me with your requirements at the time of placing your order. There will be a small additional charge for this service.
Payment
le petit boutique accepts payment by Paypal online or by bankers cheque. Please note that cheques must be from UK accounts and that I will wait for clearance of the funds before despatching your order. This usually takes 5 to 10 working days. Please mail me before placing your order if you wish to pay by cheque.
Delivery Rates
The cost of delivery will depend on the combined weight of your order and its destination. Larger items can be couriered, please email for further information.
Despatching of Orders
Orders aim to be dispatched within 48 hours of receipt of payment or if paying by cheque, on clearance of the funds.
Delivery Delays
Please notify le petit boutique and the delivery company of any problems that may have arisen during transport for example if the packaging is damaged or the item is broken. le petit boutique cannot be held responsible for problems arising during transportation, however le petit boutique will refund the cost of the goods and postage upon receipt of the said goods in the condition that they were received by you.
Returns & Refunds
If you have any questions about an item, please email le petit boutique before purchasing as all vintage items are nonreturnable.
Damaged Goods
If an item is damaged, faulty or does not conform to its description on the website then le petit boutique will refund your purchase in full including postage costs, upon receipt of the said item. The item must be sent in its original packaging and be sent via Recorded Delivery.
Privacy and Security
le petit boutique use Paypal for all online payments because it has the lowest fraud rate (compared to credit cards like Visa and Mastercard), it doesn’t cost you to send money and it’s easy to use, all you need is a bank account and an email address. Paypal is owned by Ebay and uses industry-leading fraud prevention techniques to ensure that all your details are kept safe.
